April 1, 2017 – Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) has awarded Charles F. Day & Associates (CFDay) a $9.6M, 5-year contract to provide Unexploded Ordnance (UXO)/Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Services for the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico.
CFDay and our teammate, Weston Solutions Inc., will support the daily mission of explosive ordnance clearance and disposal by providing highly trained individuals in explosive ordnance clearance and disposal. The work includes explosive materials and component identification, explosive free certification, blow-in-place procedures for range clearance, daily mission support, and the segregation of explosive components from range residue and the demilitarization and recycling.
Example of debris include military munitions, commercial explosive products and devices, rockets and missiles including propellants and warheads, missile payloads and components, soldier training support, bomb drops, manned and drone target aircraft and missiles.
