The Fisher House program is a not-for-profit organization that supports wounded soldiers when they are in most need.  Fisher Houses are located throughout the United States and even abroad.  They are co-located with military medical centers so that soldiers can have proximal access to top-notch medical care.  Fisher House also allows family members of the military serviceman or woman to stay with them during their convalescence.  Most importantly, all families stay free of charge.

Army Emergency Relief (AER) is a private non-profit organization incorporated in 1942 by the Secretary of War and the Army Chief of Staff.  AER’s sole mission is to help soldiers and their dependents.  The organization does this by offering financial assistance to Active Duty and retired families whose resources are not sufficient to meet their needs.

The American Freedom Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 public benefit corporation organized to honor veterans of America’s armed forces and raise money and awareness for various veterans’ organizations with special emphasis directed to welfare and educational issues facing those wounded in action, those disabled and families and children of veterans killed in action during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
