Manufacturing Sales Engineer – Sioux Falls, SD
Charles F Day and Associates is now recruiting a Manufacturing Sales Engineer for their Midwest client. This is an exciting customer service and sales opportunity with a world class manufacturer. Our client is searching for the ideal candidate who can provide excellent customer service/care along with exceptional sales ability to their client base to increase sales, revenue, and product growth.
Ideal candidates would come from manufacturing having the necessary experience inside phone sales, customer service, and excellence in full cycle sales.
Duties:
- Implement client sales strategies under the direction of the Key Account Manager.
- Provide customer support under the direction of the Key Account Manager.
- Prepare proposals and quotations under the direction of the Key Account Manager.
- Assist with marketing studies and competitive benchmarking.
- Support Project Management activities with cost analysis and evaluations.
- Maintain RFQ and Quotation databases.
- Effectively interact with customers across multi-functional areas and locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent Customer Service/Care Ability
- Manufacturing Experience
- Multi-Tasking Experience
- Documented Full Cycle Sales Background
- Ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations to diverse groups
- Experience in a technical/OEM sales role is preferred
- Experience in heat transfer or cooling systems is a plus.
- Travel up to 20-30% required
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in technical for business preferred.
OEM sales role is preferred. 3+ Years of Phone Sales - Manufacturing Preferred
