Senior Electronics Engineer – Sioux Falls, SD

Charles F Day and Associates is now recruiting a Senior Level Electrical/Electronics Engineer for a top notch client. This very specific role is in high demand and qualified candidates are asked to apply. This role will design electronic projects from the concept and design stage through to the production stage and make modifications of the product when necessary.

Duties:  Design, develop, and evaluate circuits. Coordinate engineering efforts with drafting production, Product Service, Purchasing, and Sales. Work with customers, suppliers, and distributors regarding production or trouble-shooting problems. Write, develop, evaluate, and document new and modified product software programs; including the CAD systems. Advise personnel involved in project design and production with technical engineering information. Attend division and project meetings to evaluate progress on projects.

Meet with vendors and suppliers to select production components. Also, may work with cost accounting for components used in production of new and modified products. Create milestone charts for each new design project.
 
Evaluates products and coordinates new product line.

Skills:  Knowledge of CAD systems, C++ Programming, PCB Layout, Product Design, Component design, Display and Touch Screen Technology, EMI Abatement, International conformity standards, Windows Image Design – both XPE and CE. Candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Education/Experience:  Bachelors degree in Electrical or Engineering and 5 years related experience. Cost Accounting experience is a plus.
