LOGISTICS AND WEAPONS SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT

Charles F. Day and Associates provides Logistics Management services to the Department of Defense, primarily to the Army and Marines.  One of CF Day’s primary areas of expertise is in Weapons Systems Management; we are involved in the acquisition, transportation, maintenance and repair in addition to the training aspects of weapons systems management for several different systems.

Our largest program supports the Lightweight 155 mm (LW155 M777) Howitzer, but we play a role in about 25 different weapons programs, including the Common Remotely Operated Weapons System (CROWS) and several small arms and optics systems.

HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTING SERVICES 

CF Day offers several Human Resources Consulting opportunities including, but not limited o personality assessments (MBTI, Newly Revised Strong and other career assessments), employee training and coaching, and recruiting and staffing services.

We are in the process of acquiring ISO 9001 certification, and have a highly qualified group of consultants with graduate degrees in business and law, as well as certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt), Certified Quality Engineers, Project Management Professionals (PMP), and ISO Auditor (Registrar Accreditation Board) credentials with several years of corporate, military and academic experience. 

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Charles F. Day and Associates, LLC is currently developing its own Research and Development Division. We have created a government/industry/university team with state of the art capabilities to develop, mature and field leading edge technologies. CF Day is actively working with Purdue University on several R&D projects which should yield at least three patents as we prepare to move to market within the next 12-18 months.  Much of our current work is done within U.S. Army artillery systems. CF Day desires to move into the field of warheads and energetics technologies as well as other complimentary areas supporting the growth of our new Research and Development division.
